Hawke’s Bay Easter Performing Arts Festival: CANCELLED

Hawke’s Bay Easter Performing Arts Festival: CANCELLED

Update: This event has been cancelled.

Proudly presented by the Napier Performing Arts Competitions Society, the Hawke’s Bay Easter Festival showcases talent from upwards of 200 entrants from around the country competing in Ballet, Tap, Modern Dance, Instrumental, and Junior & Senior Vocal classes.

The Festival runs over the Easter weekend, from Thursday evening to Monday morning, and is a fantastic opportunity to witness stars in the making!

The Festival includes our 'Operatunity Hawke's Bay Aria' national singing competition for singers aged 18 years and over with a prize pool of over $7,000.

A minimal entry fee (Adults $5, Children $2) provides you a wonderful experience to sit back, relax and enjoy a multitude of performing arts, as well as providing support to our young performers. Most sessions will be held at the Municipal Theatre with the Aria Preliminaries and Aria Finals to be held at the MTG Hawke’s Bay Century Theatre.

Tickets for sessions including Dance and Instrumental classes, the Recital Class on Friday evening ($10), and the Aria Preliminaries on Saturday evening ($15) can be purchased at the venue.

Tickets for the Aria Finals on Sunday evening (Adults $25, Students $10) can be purchased online or at the Venue Box Office one hour prior to the show.
